Leisure-Lift Services are a mobile service and repair company specialising in touring caravans, trailers, motor homes and horse boxes etc. We can come to you at a mutually agreed time and place to carry out the annual inspections to your leisure vehicle.
It is a legal requirement that your leisure vehicle be in good roadworthy condition with regard to road lights/tyres etc. Whilst most caravanners will check tyres and lights at the start of each journey, they tend not to get more involved with chassis's, braking systems and gas appliances.
If the braking system is not adjusted correctly on a trailer/caravan, the stability of the trailer/caravan will be effected whilst towing.

Leisure-Lift Services are gas ACoP registered to work on lpg installations. ACoP is an approved code of practice for all gas engineers.
Leisure-Lift Services are BPW chassis approved. BPW manufacture caravan chassis's for the Explorer Group(elddis/compass/buccaneer/explore) And market the winterhoff stabiliser and other security products.
Leisure-Lift Services are AL-KO KOBER approved for warranty and repair work. AL-KO KOBER maufacture caravan chassis's for 80% of the UK market (swift/ace/abbey/sprite/bailey/coachman etc) As well as stabilising hitches (AKS 2004/3004 etc) and security products
Leisure-Lift Services are Whale trained Whale are part of the Munster Simms Engineering group and manufacture water pumps/filters/heaters/taps space heaters etc
Leisure-Lift Services are ALDE approved for warranty and repair work ALDE manufacture wet central heating systems and hot water boilers ALDE systems were previously fitted to high end vans and Motor Homes, but are now becoming an alternative to Truma heating systems.

Habitation Service
The habitation service will include all body elements but exclude the chassis and running gear Included will be a full water ingress survey - full gas soundness test - full electrical and water systems check along with a general check and lubrication of blinds - fly screens - doors - hinges - windows/seals
Chassis Service
The Chassis service will include a check and adjustment/lubrication of all running gear - brakes - coupling hitch - overrun damper - wheels/tyres - 12n/12s plugs and cables - running lights - wheel bearings/hubs - bowden cables etc
Full Annual Service
The full service will include both the habitation and chassis service's
Gas Soundness Test
The soundness of the lpg instalation in your caravan needs to be checked whenever services are disconnected or disturbed low pressure gas hose should be replaced annually - this is inclusive in the gas soundness check - THINK YOU CAN SMELL GAS ? Charged at £35 inclusive of service parts allow 1 - 1.5 hours
Water Ingress Surveys
Water ingress is the biggest enemy of the touring caravan damp will become a major problem if left unattended a full damp check should be performed annually especialy if the caravan has been left unattended during the winter months Charged at £45 allow upto 1.5 hours A full damp check and report are included in the full service
Floor Delamination
Floor delamination happens when the glue bond between the insulation board and the flooring surface breaks - the resulting movement wears away the insulating board thus causing a spongey floor surface delamination will only get worse if left unattended - the treatment involves injecting epoxy resin into the floor and will require 2 visits Charged from £80 dependant upon area
Exterior Oversealing
A general clean and re-seal of exterior joints will help to combat water ingression and help to control damp Charged from £35 dependant upon area
Pre - Purchase Inspections
A guide to the general condition of your intended purchase includes a quick damp check - appliance test and visual chassis check Charged from £45 allow up to 2 hours
Winter drain down
Complete drain down/winterisation/long term storage service Charged at £35 inclusive
Motor Movers
Motor movers supplied and fitted - fit only from £100 swap van to van from £145 call for more info
Digital TV aerial upgrades
When touring in the most of the UK this year you will no longer be able to recieve analogue tv signals. If your caravan has a status aerial (flying saucer) this can be upgraded to a directional digital aerial which will enable you to recieve a good quality digital signal + freeview with the aid of a set top box call for more info
